Claire Novak MSc, MBA  – Clinical Development Consultant

Claire has two decades of experience in the pharmaceutical industry encompassing all phases of drug development, holding management positions of increasing seniority in large Pharma, Contract Research, Biotechnology and “Start-up”. Claire played a critical role in establishing Plethora Solutions Ltd, a company specialising in IP generation, urological and andrological drug development. Claire joined Plethora at its inception as Director of Clinical Development and was instrumental in its successful listing on the London Stock Exchange(March 2005), shaping of the product development portfolio, establishing its internal policies and processes and building the expertise in the development team to ensure its continued success.

Claire has significant experience in recruiting and developing in-house expertise and strategic use of out-sourcing to ensure on-time achievement of clinical trial deliverables. She has played key roles in two company mergers and in the strategic development of Antibodies, NCEs and Device programmes, significantly contributing to the commercial growth of the business. Her in-depth knowledge of strategic drug development, clinical management, data management and statistics coupled with her senior management experience allows her to provide a valuable consultancy resource across all areas of clinical development.
 

Dr Patricia Heath MRCP, FFPM – Independent Pharmaceutical Physician

Pat is a qualified paediatrician with seventeen years of pharmaceutical experience, encompassing all phases of drug development, from Clinical Pharmacology (at Hoechst), through early and late phase Clinical Research to Medical Marketing. Pat has held several senior management level positions within the pharmaceutical industry with Celltech, Novartis and Takeda and served as the Chief Medical Officer at Plethora Solutions since just a few months after it was founded.

As a key member of the Plethora Solutions Senior Management Team, she built the infrastructure of a semi-virtual medical department, and instigated and controlled all aspects of medical support required by a small company, both pre- and post- listing on theUKstock exchange.

Pat’s unusually broad experience has provided her with an excellent understanding of the formal, classical approach to drug development, coupled with the ability to find pragmatic, flexible solutions, without loss of integrity and quality.. Her proactive and mature approach to both individual projects and strategic management allows her to provide a unique service in most aspects of drug development.
 

Chris Warne BSc, RHCSA – Information Technology Consultant

Chris is a talented and versatile System Administrator with in-depth knowledge and experience across a wide range of disciplines and industries.

After an early career in research physics (which included embedded microprocessor development and mathematical modelling) , Chris moved into the IT industry and has subsequently build up over two decades of experience working in the Military, Scientific, Telecommunications, Finance and Pharmaceutical sectors with an emphasis on systems and networks management and consultancy.
